For many applications, such as film overlay or water jet cutting, it is necessary to separate the pieces of your design so that each can be cut separately. This operation is often called "exploding" or "bursting." Once separated, the pieces can be moved and rotated individually.

You have several separation options, such as specifying the gap between pieces. Another option allows you to merge pieces of the same color, as shown below. Perfect for film overlay and lead strip!
