How do I transfer my license to another computer?

If you have Internet access on both computers and are running Glass Eye 2000 v3.0 or later, the easiest way to transfer your product license is to use the "Park License on Server" command. This will place your license on the Dragonfly Software server where it can later be retrieved using the "Retrieve License from Server" command.

If you do not have Internet access on both computers or haven't yet installed the v3.0 update, use this procedure for transferring your license from computer A to computer B:

  1. On computer B, get the reference code by using the "Enter License Key or Registration Number" command on the Registration menu. It is important that you get this code fresh off of computer B with every transfer -- do not rely on any records you might have kept as the code may have changed since your last inspection.
     
  2. On computer A, use the "Transfer License" command on the Registration menu to input the reference code you got in Step 1. After you click the Next button you will be given a license key for computer B.
     
  3. Return to computer B and use the "Enter License Key or Registration Number" command on the Registration menu to input the license key you were given in Step 2.

After completing these steps, Glass Eye 2000 will be disabled on computer A and enabled on computer B.
